Techspace appoints Jonathan Bevan as CEO
  • New CEO Jonathan Bevan joins the company with a wealth of senior executive experience, notably at Clear Channel Outdoor through 2008/9 global financial crisis
  • Most recently Jonathan held the position of CEO of Ministry of Sound
  • His appointment follows Noé Group’s additional £5 million investment in Techspace last year

Today Techspace announces the appointment of Jonathan Bevan as Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan has 20 years’ senior executive experience. He joins Techspace having been CEO of Ministry of Sound where he led the diversification of the brand with the creation of a shared workspace concept focused on the creative sector. Previously Jonathan was CFO, COO and then President, Europe at the $1.5bn international division of Bain Capital / TH Lee backed Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc.

Jonathan’s appointment follows the Noé Group’s £5 million additional investment to accelerate Techspace’s growth, including the iconic Techspace Eiswerk which opens in Berlin later this year. Jonathan will be driving the development of Techspace’s strategy for organic and M&A growth, broadening the company’s service offering and he is looking to more than double the international footprint over the next 18 months.

Jonathan Bevan commented: “Attitudes to work have changed more in days than in a decade, due to Coronavirus pandemic, and it’s going to boost demand for flexible workspace significantly in the long term.  Short term we have challenges to work through like most businesses, however our focus on the large and dynamic tech sector puts us in a very strong position.

I’m inheriting a strong team that has built a robust business already covering Europe’s two pre-eminent tech hubs – London and Berlin – and I couldn’t be more excited about Techspace's future. Once we have emerged from the current crisis, and with the strong support of our shareholders, I am looking forward to rapidly scaling the business.”

Noé Group, Goldacre commented: “We are excited to have Jonathan at the helm and leading Techspace’s future expansion. His experience as a senior executive and proven track record within the shared workspace industry made him a natural choice for Techspace’s next phase of growth.”

Techspace is a workspace provider dedicated to high growth, technology-led businesses. Helping its members grow by providing opportunities to network, learn and share, in enjoyable and productive working environments.
